    Getting a white screen
    « on: March 31, 2009, 08:54:57 PM »
When I turn my computer on, at first it looks like it is coming on, my background screen comes up, then the whole screen turns white, I can see the curser, but that is it. I think the computer is running windows XP, I am running out of ideas. Thanks

When you turn your computer on tap F8 repeatedly as it boots up. This will take you to the advanced start up menu. Choose Safe Mode at this screen.

Have you tried using a different monitor?
