Shouldn't be need but thanks for the offer. If things get too drastic I'll just get a temporary job. :)

I rather think many of us would want you to let us know, and see what sort of arrangements might be made.  I think we'd be pleased to help.


The US economy has been on a slow downward slide since the "dot-com" bubble burst back in the early part of the decade.  The stock market looked good for a long time because it's been "propped" by a lot of foreign money.  Unemployment usually "lags" everything else, so by the time unemployment numbers look bad, you're pretty much "tanked," anyway.

Even if it is a matter of personal responsibility, and pulling oneself up by one's proverbial bootstraps, there are far fewer opportunities to do so, whether your collar is blue or white.
