My PC is running very slow at start up and when trying to open programs. When PC has not been used for a 30 mins or so it takes forever to get to a usable status. I have tried running Accentric and it worked great for about a month and then it went back to it's old slow self. Help! Any help is greatly appreciated.

That's alright.

You have Viewpoint installed.

Viewpoint Media Player/Manager/Toolbar is considered as Foistware instead of malware since it is installed without users approval but doesn't spy or do anything "bad".

More information:

It is suggested to remove the program now.
Go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and remove the following programs if present.

Viewpoint
Viewpoint Manager
Viewpoint Media Player
Viewpoint Toolbar
Viewpoint Experience Technology

I used the tool to analyze Hijack This and it told me to delete the 017 which was my DNS for the linksys router now i cannot get online with that PC even after rebooting.

Woah, wait. What tool?

You shouldn't fix anything with HijackThis unless asked to or you know what you're doing!

Open HijackThis again, click on "View the list of backups". Click the checkbox next to the one you deleted and click restore.

The Computer Hope Process Tool said to delete the entry 017 and 018 so I did. In the process of rebooting that PC as soon as it is up I will check the back up log.
