How can you tell how much memory you have and what the max your system takes and which is the correct memory to buy.

    Thanks,
    MP.

The best place to see what your system can support and what type would be to visit crucial.com

        Just ordered 2gb from crucial.

Can't believe how cheap memory is these days.

        Thanks again,
        MP.

          Hmmmm this hit a chord.

I've always wanted to put my entire audioe video collection on disk so I can save the space they take up in the house. I'm pretty well on the way with the audio and at the end wanted to buy a HD just as a back up. Music is very important to me. lol

I was also thinking of doing it for my video? If its that cheap I may just dive right in. It woudl be cool to have your entire DVD collection in one place and just scroll through the title to pick one out. Do people do this and is it economically feasible? Opinions are good. lol

          Thanks,
          MP.

If you're going to make a HTPC (Home Theatre PC), that's something I see many people do these days with the addition of the big screen HDTV and the death of Analog TV channel signals.

But you said about audio, that depends on what device(s) if any other than your computer you want to listen to them on....  :)
