Ok I have bought a new motherboard 2 days ago and it is booting to screen and so on , it is working generally BUT there are some problems with it...
Heres the board:
http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products/Motherboard/Products_Overview.aspx?ProductID=2691Its a Gigabyte GA-73PVM-S2H
I have 3 problems with the new mobo:
1) The Audio : The audio isnt working at all , my speakers are on and i have tried both jacks with no outcome. One of the drivers were installed successfully but the other was not... I cannot play system sounds or CD DVD sound
2) The CPU FAN : The cpu fan is running at highest speed and does not slow down much at all... The CPU temp peaks at 60 degrees celsius but the fan still runs at highest speed... I have looked at the bios but there are not many settings i can change which will help , I have tried setting to optimal settings but to no avail... BUT the cpu fan does slow down when i run a program called icool from gigabyte , the proggram shows how the computer runs at various speeds but the cpu fan only slows when it starts up... If i could see the coding of the program it may help but i doubt that i will
3) The Internet
: I cannot connect to my router to access the internet even though the installation CD says that all the drivers were updated successfully...
According to the CD included with the mobo all the drivers were installed succesfully however the audio on the motherboard is still prompting errors with the new hardware wizard...
