    how to remove hhd password

    just got this used laptop and need to remove password to reinstall xp back on my toshiba sateillte 80gb hhd 1 gb ram 17" screen model p25-s509

    You will need to take it to an Authorised Manuf. Service Center and show Proof of Ownership...

      silverwing, Depending on the circumstances of "just got this used laptop" another option may be to take it back to the vendor and/or call them and get them to provide you with the password that you lack.truenorth
