Blue Screen of Death while playing Frozen Throne
    « on: August 27, 2009, 12:59:17 AM »
Hi guys I've been having this problem for a long time and haven't been able to find a solution to it. The problem is like this:
Whenever I'm playing Frozen Throne for about an hour or so. Suddenly the Blue Screen Of Death will appear saying that it has shut down my computer to prevent further damage. So I have no choice but to shut down the PC and turn it on again. And it repeats till today.
Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

When was the last time you blew the dust out of the computer with a can of compressed air?

What is the brand and model of your computer? How long have you had it?
Does this happen with other games?

Nope it happens only when I'm playing Frozen Throne. It has been like this for quite some time.

ok this is what it says:
A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

          DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:

Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed. If this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any windows updates you might need.

If problem continue, disable or remove any newly insalled hardware or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select advance startup options, and then select safe mode.
