    wireless not working on new computer

    i have a brand new HP G60-441US Laptop. it worked fine when hooked up to my home modem. now that i am back at school it will not hook up to my wireless internet. i've tried all the diagnostic stuff and it will not work. it is working fine for my roommates on their computers. any suggestions?

    If is has never been to school before, you have to set up a new wireless connection at the school. One of your classmates should be able to help you.

      well, no one here knows what to do. can you tell me where i should go or look for to try to do this on my own? does my internet provider have to do something or should i just be able to do it on my own?

        when i go to the wireless icon in the tray and then right click on it and go to network and sharing center i get unknown, the dependency service or group failed to start, and when i try to turn it on it won't let me.
