Burning problem

Hi,

Please can you help?
I'm trying to burn some music to a CD, but when I try to burn them via WMP (7.1) I get the error message "No CD recording devices found on your system". If I try to burn them directly via my burning equipment (Nero Express 5.5) I get the error message "no compatible file found". Whats going on?? My operating system is Windows 98.

Have you ever tried to burn a CD with WMP 7.1 on Win 98 before? If you did, how'd it turn out?
