Over the last months been working on and off on a new history feature that gives Computer history every day and while seeing if this was documented found it interesting that on this same day the first version of Microsoft Windows was released. Coincidence?
However, that being said I always really thought that technically the virus was born in 1982 by Rich Skrenta. So kind of a strange they'd title this day as being the day the actual virus was born. Guess that's the problem with history, it's all up to the persons interpretation that's writing about it.
