Yah, I do use Firefox generally.... But when I get sick of seeing the message "server not found", which happens frequently on various machines, I'll switch back over to IE... But then because auto-complete/cookies have me spoiled I'll get tired of typing my password to access Computer Hope and then switch back to Firefox..And on and on it goes.. Firefox seems to run better on my 64bit Windows Vista, which makes sense. Less "server not found" messages are coming up
I don't know if you've noticed but a lot of people are seeing the message "server not found" frequently when using Firefox.. At first I thought there was just a problem with the machine I was using, but then noticed that on my other machines it happens. I was at the electronics recycling center yesterday and they were using firefox to access the the company database and the first time they tried, they got the message, "server not found"... When I use my mom's computer at her house, I have the same problem, also.. A friend of mine switched over to IE because he was having problems sending eMail using Firefox..
Usually if you click on "resend" to works, but it gets old.
With respect to IE... I don't know what the deal is here.. On my XP machine and on my Vista machine, I'm never prompted by IE on whether I want to save my password for the site... I never noticed this problem before, but now I'm noticing it on both my machines and can't get it fixed... Even on a fresh install of windows XP, it doesn't fix the problem...
Ultimately, I'd like to know what's causing this, so when I tend to people having the same problem, who prefer using IE, I'll be able to help them..
