Hulu Plus vs. Netflix: Which Is Best?
That's the point of a PC World  article.

With Hulu Plus debuting this week, online video fans will soon have another alternative to the overpriced programming bundles offered by the cable and satellite companies. While Web-based services that stream movies and TV shows to the home can't yet match the immediacy and depth of traditional pay TV, they're edging closer.

Myself, I don't really agree with his point. But I have been wrong.
Take a look at http://hulu.com ans see for yourself.

I just don't see Hulu Plus as a subscription service as a very successful business.  All of the shows they are offering will be available in reruns either on their networks, or on TNT, USA, etc.

I'm sure they will have some subscribers, but I can't imagine it will ever be a big success.

On the other hand it doesn't cost the networks much to offer the service, so I guess it will provide a little extra income.

I'm currently a Netflix subscriber so could be a little bias. However, the only advantage I see with Hulu Plus is the ability to watch current live TV shows, something Netflix currently doesn't offer. However, personally I rather just wait for the shows to hit DVD/Blu-ray and then watch the full season without having to wait a week to see the next episode. Also Hulu is just local networks, it doesn't movies or mini-series on HBO, Showtime, etc. and Netflix definitely doesn't have any shows with commercials.  :D
