Locked Out Of My Computer
« on: May 27, 2007, 01:05:36 AM »
Last night I reinstalled my computers operating system hoping to fix some system problems that I've been having, and now I can't even get logged into my computer.  I have windows 2000 and it will no longer accept my user name and password to log on, and I don't know how to get in to fix it.  Can someone help me before I rip the hard drive out of the computer and start over with a new one?

When you reinstalled it, what did you do?
Try it again- make sure to format the disk to remove the data.
See <here> for instructions.

Tried booting into Safe Mode and using the Administrator account?  Should be no password there.  Create a new account and move your stuff there.
