That's happening when you launch the Media Center.

In my case everything is normal, that error only pops up when i click the CD icon with no CD inside.

      Hi,

Faced with 2 situations on clicking the CD drive with no CD.

In some cases it opens up blank.
In other it pops "Invalid function"

      How it this difference.  ???

Putting in a CD, is altogether a different story  8)
Well, we still don't have an answer as to why he gets two different responses at different times, do we?

"Invalid function" often points to a firmware error, flaky CD drive or cable.
