    Access Denied

    Had to reinstall WindowsXP HE after which I could not gain access to any files on my second HD ( slave )which I use for back up. Comes up "Access denied". Please help.

        When I right-click the folder to access properties, there is no Security Tab for me to get to advanced.
        Do appreciate the help.

        So you cannot access the Slave Drive?

          Yes I can see all the folders but when I go to open them I get "Not accessible access denied"

            Gee I thought you had got me on to it Carbon, but as I said before I dont have any security tap to access advanced to take ownership.

              And yes it is a NTFS file system.

              Open MY Computer, Right click on the drive> Properties  and look for a Security tab there.
