Mixing software needed - free/trial?

Hi
I'm doing a project with some friends and I need to mix some tracks
Does anyone have any recommendations on software I could use for this?
Preferably free software or one with a trial period - I only need it for this one thing, maybe till the end of the week
Don't really know the details of what I'm supposed to be doing yet (need to confer with other team members) but it involves three tracks and a total time of about 1 minute (so not full tracks)
Any ideas?

I already Googled it, just wondering if anyone knew any good programs before I started randomly downloading things
Do you think Audacity would be any use?
I do have it already but it seems a bit complicated, not really used it

Audacity is good, but there is a learning curve to all of these.

As an extra comment:
Audacity is pretty simple to use...
It wont take to long to get used to it. Just make separate tracks, and import what you want to mix (or record it)

To be honest, if your just doing basic stuff then most (Audacity, Adobe Audition, etc...) audio editing software will do you.

In my personal opinion, audacity is great. It didn't take much to work it out from nothing. I would throughly recommend following the tutorial on the audacity website.

I've done what i needed to do using Audacity
Took me about a 1/2 hour to get used to it, then it was easy
