Lost me there... are you talking about internet searching/multi tabs? ? ?

Can you be more specific about what you are actually doing/which application you are using when this freeze happens?

Which browser are you using?

Has it always done this or just started recently?

Is it happening all the time/sometimes?

Does it happen with certain pages or all pages?

When it freezes has the page loaded?

You're also running a minimal amount of RAM which may be causing the freezes...
Travel to Crucial.com and enter the machine specs to see what type it takes and do some price shopping.
RAM is relatively inexpensive right now so it's a good time to upgrade.

My advice:

Update your anti-virus software & then perform a full system scan.

Make sure you have the latest Windows security updates installed.

If you don't have already & are able to download them, get:

Superantispyware
Spybot

Update those & perform scans with them, then get:

HijackThis

Perform a scan with HJT & save a log file, copy/paste that log file into Computer Hopes 'Viruses & Malware' forum.

I think you need to establish if you have malware first.
