I created a Live! Search Toolbar Icon for Computer Hope. It has to be reviewed and confirmed before anyone can download it though. I'll post the link to it once it has been confirmed.

I hope Nathan wont mind the fact that I borrowed the CH favicon for it!

I'm not using IE or the MSN bar. But did give it a shot to try it out. Looks interesting. Thanks. I'm real surprised that Google hasn't released a customizable search bar yet.

Ya, I thought Google would be on that line by now.

Its simple to create a button on MSN. I just thought one for CH would be handy. You just click on it and it brings you straight to Computer Hope.

It's helpful and I do appreciate you taking the time to do it. I'm sure it was a good learning experience. I'd imagine though most people would have a much easier time though creating a shortcut and putting it in their toolbar (or links in the case of IE).

Yeah good point Saviour that would be using Google. I have looked at it a little when we were discussing a custom Computer Hope tool bar, but didn't play around with it probably enough. After downloading it I didn't really care for some of the features that I couldn't get removed.

Personally if I was going to go after this I'd just work on creating a custom toolbar from scratch since I think it'd be the only way I could get all the features I really wanted. 

Unfortunately a lot of the Firefox toolbar relies on XML a language I'm afraid to admit is way low on my totem poll of knowledge.

Heh. Not giving all my secrets away. Just not customizable enough for me, I'll leave it at that.

LMAO...wasn't looking for secrets...just curious as to what features you couldn't remove, really.

The toolbar is actually highly customizable...and its settings can be changed by the individual user.  Selecting what items they want...or don't want on the toolbar.

Not trying to sell you anything...just thought you'd want to take a look.
