Got a 500 server error on the article, so ironically I went to Google news to search for a similar article.
Will Bing bury Microsoft?
Microsoft still suffers from Google envy: Steve Ballmer appears ready to make a bet of up to $11 billion that Microsoft's new search engine Bing can overtake its Internet competitor. At best, the bet is a long shot, and throwing away that amount of money could well do Microsoft irreparable harm.
LinkAfter reading this article I was able to open your article and was also an interesting read. Especially:
Microsoft (MSFT-Q23.28-0.79-3.28%) grabbed 12.1 per cent of U.S. Internet searches for the work week June 8-12, according to data released by industry tracker comScore earlier on Wednesday.
That is up from 11.3 per cent in the June 1-5 period – the week in which Bing was launched – and up from 9.1 per cent the week before that.
Pretty good statistics, although they've been marking it really good. Seen lots of advertisements on TV and on the Internet, so will be interesting to see if it can keep the increase going.
