    A forums question?
    « on: March 28, 2010, 10:06:31 PM »
Hey guys, what do you believe is the best FREE forums I can use? I used to use vBulletin but it's not free anymore and I need a good free one. One that gives me the most ability and professionalism for free.
Doesn't need help as fast anymore ;)

IP.Board is an awesome one I have used, but again not free: http://www.invisionpower.com/products/board/

I haven't tried it, but Pro Boards is a free one and very popular: http://www.proboards.com/index.html

Based off reviews I've read SMF is currently the most highly rated *free* forum software and is also what Computer Hope uses.

I prefer phpBB because it has so many modifications and so many people working on modifications.
I help run my home improvement and home automation forum.
