    « on: February 06, 2010, 06:13:52 AM »
I don't know what I do to cause a large square to appear on my screen that magnifies the portion my mouse goes to. Can anyone help?
    Thanks

Try pressing the small thumb button on your mouse. Often by default for Microsoft mouse's is magnify for the upper most thumb button. If this is what is causing it you can change these settings by open the mouse settings in the control panel and changing the button to something else.

Another possibility may be the Magnifier utility has been activated.  Try this if you think it may be what is happening:

    1)  Start \ All Programs \ Accessories \ Accessibility \ Magnifier

    2)  To turn off Magnifier, in the Magnifier Settings dialog box, select the Exit button.
