the add and remove prog; has stopped working over this past 3 days , any help , harry

click start , etc  it will come up on screen , click remove button and the hour glass will come up , click again ( not responding ) will come up , it will take 5/6 clicks on the red X to get it away

Does it happen with any program, you try to uninstall, or some particular program?

i don't get the chance , i click the main add and remove button to bring up the program's and it freeze's there

should i take windows back to the windows setting's or would that make no difference

Have you done sfc yet ? ?

Start/Run and type in sfc /scannow and hit Enter...
Have your XP CD handy as it will ask for it.
Re-boot after finishing.

Please download SystemLook from one of the links below and save it to your Desktop.

  • Double-click SystemLook.exe to run it.
  • Vista users:: Right click on SystemLook.exe, click Run As Administrator
