    Device Driver Configuration Help
    « on: May 02, 2010, 07:33:35 PM »
I have a USB device which shows up under my computer, but does not open. My thoughts on that are that the driver isn't configured properly and whatnot. So, from there I am attempting to do so. I am not extremely familiar with .inf files, but I kind of get the gist of them. The file is m3usb.inf, and I have tried the right click install method but to no avail. I have also placed the driver into the system32/drivers location as it says to within the file( which is surprisingly very helpful). I would greatly appreciate any help that could be given. Please and thank you in advance.

Problem Resolved! For some reason the cable provided would not eer the port on the died another camble and vuala! Didn't have to do anything with te INf file or anything. Amazing how simplistic problems can be, especialy when I thought it was something incredibly difficult.
