    « on: May 17, 2010, 07:35:28 AM »
was wondering if anybody has any recommendations on a good networking book. One that explains windows settings, seting up up both wired and wireless, and the whys of the particular settings, etc?

    Thanks   ;D

To what level?  Like home networking, or corporate?

Mircosoft do thier own certifications, but I'd only go down that route if your serious about working in IT.

Otherwise, something like a "For Dummies" book would probably do.  http://www.google.co.uk/products?hl=en&rlz=1G1GGLQ_ENUK253&q=home+networking+for+dummies&um=1&ie=UTF-8&ei=Sq_yS4nQF4T80wSj_MyaDQ&sa=X&oi=product_result_group&ct=title&resnum=3&ved=0CDoQrQQwAg

no no no. nothing for testing. I'm just looking for a good book for a home user to learn more than the scant things I already know. Something maybe mid level. More than Networking for Dummies. :  P
