Windows can't load driver for pci adapter
« on: June 01, 2010, 09:21:03 PM »
My on board ethernet connection failed and in device status it said windows could not load the driver for this device. Driver is messing or corrupt.     (code 39)  So I purchase a new pci adapter and when I tried to install it I get the same message in device status for the new adapter.  I have run
sfc /scannow and have now problems show up there.  I ran Malwarebytes and got rid of some bad files but none of this seems to help.  I tried removing and reinstalling the pci adapter and the driver but no help.  Anyone know what is going on here?  Thanks   Russ61nc

Did this just start? If so, what happened just before the problem arose (new hw, sw, virus, error, format, etc)?
