    cant get any sound out of speakers

    i have them plugged up and everything i just cant get any sound out of them

    Welcome to CH.
    We need more information.
    New Computer? Old?
    Desktop? Laptop?
    Windows XP?
    Have the speakers ever worked?
    Do the speakers work OK when plugged into something else?
    Can you hear sound wiht headphones?

      old and its a desktop its like xp 2002 the speakers worked with another comp. and i pluged headphones into the back of the modem and no sound

        the speakers are jbl the computer is unsure i think its a hp with clear sides
