Connected but explorer isn't operating

I'm running on an a unreal windows 7 on a VGN-SR Sony Vaio.  I recently had a problem with the laptop and downloaded malwarebytes and the problem was fixed (thanks to lostcoast).  However, another problem came up.  I am definitely connected to my wireless internet as I can update and connect to online games but the internet browsers are not functioning.  On google chrome i receive "Error 102 (net: :ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED): unknown error."  and on internet explorer it says "The remote device or resource won't accept the connection".  Any help would be much appreciated.

try using cmd to ping a website n c if its successful. if it is, uninstall ur browser n reinstall it
but if not, get a real win7 OS... easy to get.

When you say "unreal" are you saying it is a pirated copy?

If you mean unreal as pirated then we cannot help with pirated software.  Sorry!
