Help needed with “LAN connection”?
« on: August 29, 2010, 12:54:12 PM »
I have a problem with LAN connection on the internet.
It is not that I don't understand how to make a network configuration, but the problem exists as following:
After I'm plugging network cables in ADSL Modem and LAN card I see the following picture:

Someone from you probably it will suggest me to update the LAN card driver or to check out if the cables are properly connected. I did a driver update and (I plugged in the same cable in my Laptop LAN card and it works fine), the result of problem fixing is negative.
If I check out the Device Manager you’ll see the following:

So according to the computer properties you’ll see that everything works properly.
Now I do use the internet only from Wireless card.

Is someone from you who can give me any suggestion what to do or someone has the same problem and fixed.

My PC has the following characteristics:
BIOSTAR Group
Model: GF7050V-M7 Intel Pentium Dual CPU E2200
The LAN card is integrated in motherboard.

P.S.  I tried the following:
Start > > Run > > Regedit
Than found the location: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID
I deleted: {7007ACCF-3202-11D1-AAD2-00805FC1270E}
Rebooted the PC, no success.
I’ve gone to LAN card properties and chose Configure -> Advanced -> and to Link Speed/Duplex Mode I changed to 100 - half – duplex

To be honest I never had such of problem and the only hope for me to fix this is COMPUTERHOPE FORUM.

In advance I thank you for your reply.
Cheers.
