    in  msconfig  the   service  tab   if i tak anything out  will it stay out  and off like in the  startup tab

    It has to,if you've unchecked the box the service will be disabled.If you unchecked something you not suppose to,the computer will notify you.

    No, it won't notify you, however what you uncheck on the "services" tab will not start up if unchecked. Just a word of advice if you don't know for certain what you are disabling either A) ask as or B) don't disable it
