    My pc has something said wireless network but when it is set to detect network automatically it doesnt found any please help.my pc is mecer 280M and it has win xp sp2

    If the wireless signal received from your computer are from other network connection as available they could mean that they are secured when trying to access.

    You need to have your own wireless router to get wireless internet.  You should also update to SP3, that will enable WPA which is more secure than WEP.
