Need help noob @linux

I just bought a dedicated server and i want to know how to limit users to their own home directory.

Example :
User andrew
Dir   home/andrew
Can't browse to root/ or usr Dir but can only browse within home directory only

For Ftp and ssh Please help !

For FTP, it depends on which FTP server you're using (you don't specify).  For SSH, it's a little more complicated.  You still want your users to be able to access certain binaries - and they're always stored outside the user's home directory.  Anyway, you can try rbash as suggested above, or go down the chroot ssh route (my preference).  Read more at >this HowTo<.

The service I have uses a program called cpanel  which is a graphical interface that does the work for me. I don't even think about setting things my hand.
