Another reference point to check for compatible RAM is your MBoard manual.

With a density specific motherboard, the online scanner might give erroneous information.  However, it's worth a try to see what happens.  At least, Crucial guarantees it will work.  If it doesn't, you return it for full refund.

I believe Crucial's massive MBoard database accounts for this...from what i heard 87% of all MBoards are actully tested in house.

I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.
