Guess what? I think I havea  little treat for you! I was looking around for a password gate, and I came accross a host, whihc I now use to support my forum... They give you a free password gate with nearly an unlimited number of accounts! This is what it looks like... http://stealthentertainment.zeeblo.com/main/staff=index.php ... Only users with the username and password can get in... (Case sensitive) ... If you're interetsed, visit http://www.zeeblo.com , and on the forum there go to apply for hosting section. Simply register your free forum account, and then post a message in the hosting area with the information that they wish for you to provide. They will more than likely accept you. Once you are accepted, let me know, and I'll show you how to get this going!  ;)

ok great! Here's what you have to do...

(1) Login to your control panel
(2) Click on File Manager
(3) Click on the folder that says www  ... One you enter that folder, click on Create New Folder, and name it whatever you want... Note that ANYTHING in this folder will be password protected, so only put the protected ones in there.
(4) Next, go back to your main control panel, and click on Password Protect Directories.
(5) Look for the folder you have just created, and click on it.
(6) next, check the box at the top. (it says a long sentance about you needing to check this for protection)
(7) Enter the protected resource name, (Name of password box. (ex. Staff Login)
(8) Enter some users and passwords. Note that they are case sensitive.
(9) Click on the save button, and upload files to that folder, and then try accessing those files over IE or any browser, and you will see your protection box! Let me know if you need any additional help!   ;D

The person who approved your hosting request should have sent you a private message on that forum... Have you checked them?
