Unable to see "pictures"

i'm running windows 7 pro.
i needed to download a picture of my self.

i went into libraries>pictures and ALL my pics are of an island on the ocean.

how do i get my pictures back ?

Hi, what would happen if you right click then Preview one picture?

If you trmrmber the name of at least 2 photo do a search for it...i suspect you saved them to a different location by accident...
