1.8MB file to 2.0MB floppy?
« on: October 31, 2005, 03:23:02 AM »
I am trying to put a 1.8MB file onto a 2.0MB floppy, getting a message that file is too large for floppy.  I have tried changing the floppy size in the Bios to 3.0MB, but this doesn't fix my problem.  Is there a trick?

You cannot change the size of a floppy in the BIOS. The BIOS can only be told what TYPE of FDD you have in your system.
Have you considered one of those memory stick thingy's ? ?

Make it into a .zip file, possibly a self extractor, and it should fit on a floppy.
