    Err....  Your "question" makes absolutely no sense.  Besides, "give me code to do x" is hardly programming, it is copying other people's code.

    There are many simple editors that were written for older versions of Linux. The source code for these is available.
    Many udders prefer windows. Microsoft has made some tools that allow almost anyone t o write their own simple text editor. You might take the code and add some nicde colorful extras to the structure.
