    I have virgin wifi,  however, my dell inspiron 1545 (new hardrive) cannot connect due to a missing software problem.
    I'm writing this on a desktop (M.7)

    Re-install all your drivers from the Dell site...
    Enter your service tag # and the Win version and it will list them all.
    Chipset driver 1st...then re-boot...then all others.
