To date, the only sites that stay online do one of two things:
1. Charge some kind of fee to the user, which helps buy permission.
2. Somehow get advertisers to help pay for the costs.
Even the allegedly "free" sites are in some way getting income. Running a broadband server costs money. Every day. And using Copyright material brings legal problems. You either pay the movie studios or pay the Nattiness. (Om sp,e copuntires yhu might bribe someone to look away.)

Yes, that was a hoax. But there is something to learn. The people who send out such hoaxes believe they will never be caught e becomes theyare doing something harmless. Just like some think the watching pirated movies is harmless. In both cases harm is being one.
Some TV networks do offer free viewing of past episodes of popular sees. But your question was about movies. And yes, there are a few places where some movies are available with no cost to the viewer.
