Floppy Drive Problem
« on: August 02, 2004, 09:44:51 AM »
I have an older IBM that uses a floppy with no 5 pin power cable, only a ribbon cable. I'm assuming power is being delivered through the ribbon cable. I am wanting to replace this drive, but all purchased drives seem to require the 5 pin power cable. What can I do?

Perhaps a converter cable is the answer for you. You shuld look and ask in specialized computer stores for these kind of items.
