Merry Christmas Gift
« on: December 15, 2005, 08:46:56 PM »
Here is my Christmas gift to you, the ComputerHope family.

If you or a friend, relative, etc., have a misbehaving Dell, Compaq, or HP of an older vintage (Pentium II - Pentium III especially!) send me the full model number of the machine to research, then ship the machine to me (PM me for address) and be willing to pay for shipment back after a week or so. (I am in Oklahoma USA, so calculate shipping accordingly.)

Please include a list of all known problems and what has been done, any restore CD's (which will be returned) along with the purpose for the machine clearly stated. I will either fix your machine to run better than it ever did, or at worst case scenario, the same as when you got it. 99.99% of my work falls in the former category.

This is my Christmans gift for a few lucky computer hope members. There is no charge, unless parts are needed, and frequently this is not even required. Software snafus, etc., are the most common. The labor is without charge and my reward is the fun of a solution. If you want to make a donation of whatever amount you think fair after the machine is back with you, that's appreciated. I will donate 100% to the project to make the next "resurrection" even easier for the next person.

So you know how to PM me. You've seen my knowledge. "Bring out your dead"

I can't fix everyone's, but  have 10 openings right now for Christmas break. Nothing to lose on this deal. Of course I continue available on the forums too! This is not an ad, there is nothing for sale, except Computer Hope.

Have a Merry Christmas.

Merlin, you have been owned so hard. If this forum were a prison, and GX man's post a piece of soap you would have had your *censored* cherry removed.

By the way, I don't celebrate anything. I am a firm believer of boringism.

I was asked what it would be like if ALL Roman Catholics lived in Rome instead of everywhere else.

Can anyone here compute the answer?
