My wife and I both have identical acer laptops, and we get Emails forwarded by a friend which have videos. My wife can download and show them fine, not so on my computer. How can I change whatever setting is different on mine?
Thanks much, you guys are always so helpful for us over-the-hillers!

When you recieve a video in an email...right clik it and select open with...then choose the app of your choice to use.

Patio, that doesn't work on my computer. I have to right-click and use "save as". Once it's saved to my computer I can right-click and use Open with.

In the same vein Right now I'm reading a story on yahoo that has grey boxes that should have a photo in them but they are just blank. I tried right clicking but no luck.

You may have turned off "Show Images" in your browser, check in the browser settings.

Also check if you are running any extensions that can block parts of webpages, such as Adblock Plus, Ghostery, uBlock Origin etc, these will show as small icons in the top right of the browser, on the same line as the adress bar.

If you are still stuck, reply with which browser you are using (and version of Windows) I can help you further.
