Trying to help recover the login for a family member's laptop running Windows 10. She does not remember the password but after going through the "I forgot password" form on Microsoft's website, the got back within two hours with the usual "We have failed to authenticate your account with the information you have provided" garbage they usually spew! Is there a way to force a login to recover/reset the Windows password or try a local user account that is short of reinstalling Windows?
