Regarding Sound Card
« on: April 01, 2006, 10:40:58 PM »
I am running off of Windows 2000, my sound card or something is messed up. All I need to know is 3 things; How do I locate the Make and Model of my sound card, How do I locate what my CPU is, and how do I find out how much RAM I have? :-/

For the CPU and Ram google a program called CPU-Z, it gives you everything you need to know about the 2.  If you don't want that just do:

    Start>Run>dxdiag

That will also tell you what you have, just not in as much detail.

Download, install & run the program.
The 2nd one is a discontinued free version, you would have to unzip it after downloading.
