WORD
« on: April 02, 2006, 11:29:55 AM »
Hi!
This is my last resort, I hope someone on here can help me.
I also hope I am posting this in the right place.

My question is about WORD

I am trying to do a rough layout of what I want for a web page...so I can give it to my bro to make it for me.

(I know I should be using photoshop, but I can't use it yet!  It's far too complicated for me at this point!!)

Anyway, what I want is a grey background, and then an inner box (looks like it is mounted on the grey background)  in white, in this inner box, I want to insert a picture, I can do all of this, but I am unable to do the next piece:

I want to write over the picture!  When I click on the picture and then click on "behind text" the picture disappears behind the background colour of the inner box!!

Is is possible to write over the photo?

Thanks in advance

Use a text box over the top.  If you don't have the drawing menu showing, right-click on any menu, and click the checkbox for Drawing.  The "insert text box" icon is on that menu.  You can layer the image and text box however you wish.
