Hi, please accept my apology if this is posted in the wrong place,its my first time
I sent some music files from my external to my husbands external drive, now i get drive unaccessable and its gone from a new volume to a local disk on the computer display, ive done checks and the report was no physical damage ,i cant do a chkdsk on it either to try and sort it. its a 300gb maxtor external harddrive,i dont want to format it again and lose all my stuff,any advice please?
