Your question does not make a whole lot of sense. Please tell us what it exactly is you wish to do and how.

Why move the Napster files? Just leave your old drive from the 98 PC in your new PC. It's always nice to have extra disk space. Also, you could clean off all the excess 98 stuff from the old drive.

P.S. I have an external HD that I store all my docs, pics, mp3s, etc. on, it's safer that way (somewhat). Nothing is truely safe.   :)
    OOPS!!!!!!!!!  ???
    I just saw this:

Take your 98 drive and set the jumper to CS (cable select) or slave and install it in your second HD bay. If the HD is in the new PC and readable the the file are already transfered (pPhysically). On second thought maybe keep the 98 drive as is the you can set for a dual boot.  ;D

If you wish to transfer files from your older harddisk to the newer harddisk, you will have to set the newer harddisk to Master and the older harddisk to Slave.

Be certain that the Master harddisk has an operating system installed.

If I understand this right you want the napster program not just the songs,

If you cant run it off the drive its on under XP moving it wont help... your talking about moving a program instalation from one comp to another... sometimes you get lucky, the other 99% doesn't work...

      WHERE YOU ARE AT! :-?

You're traveling through another dimension -- a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind. A journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination. That's a signpost up ahead: your next stop: the Twilight Zone!

You unlock this door with the key of imagination. Beyond it is another dimension: a dimension of sound, a dimension of sight, a dimension of mind. You're moving into a land of both shadow and substance, of things and ideas. You've just crossed over into... the Twilight Zone.

There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call "The Twilight Zone".

WELCOME TO THE TWILIGHT ZONE DUDE! :-? ;D ;D ;D
