Why won't Montior turn on?

Just got new computer and can't talk to tech support until monday so i was wondering if anyone new any reasons why my computer won't even display anything on the my screen its like the computer isn't even hooked to it :-/

Bad connections or bad power supply are the most likely reasons.

why dont you try another monitor and see what happens?

Thanks for giving me hints i thought it might be bad something! And i have used 3 different Montiors ;D

Did you buy the moniter from a store? ,  Bring it back maybe it is defective. Or bring it to a friends house and try it there. :)

ok does the 4 pin power connection need something connected to it? Its a male connector and its on my motherboard which is a eVGA nForce-4 SLI Chipset Dual DDR w/7.1 Sound, Gb LAN, S-ATA Raid, USB 2.0, Dual PCI-E MB , Do the jumpers need to be covered with a little black connector? :-?

Didn't the OP just say he'd tried three monitors?  :)

Personally, I wouldn't mess with this.  You don't want to do anything that gives the company an excuse to say you've invalidated your warranty.  Just relax, have some chocolate, wait for Monday.  Read a book maybe.  ;)

Edit: you were posting whilst I was editing.  Those connectors are probably not your problem.
