Unmountable Boot Volume
« on: May 08, 2006, 12:58:45 PM »
I have Windows XP-Home, when I turned on my computer a blue screen apperaed that stated that Microsoft shut down due to error.
Which read UNMOUNTABLE BOOT VOLUME, once I shut down my computer the computer sounds as if it is booting up however the windows logo (black screen) appears then it will go directly to the blue screen again that reads Unmountable boot volume.. I have the restore CD's that came with my computer, is this what I need???? :-?
Any help will greatly be appreciated,
Thanks
