Task bar keeps disappearing

Hi,
My task bar disappears everytime I leave my computer for an extended period of time.  I already tried what the FAQs page suggested, and that doesn't work.  Anymore suggestions??

Eileen2Left..... LOL ...... It's the mindreaders day off today...... perhaps you could provide some details as to your machine and when this started to occur.  In other words ..give us something to work with .

when it started to happen???  I can't say that it happened after I did this or that....there is no reason why it seems to happen.  My computer is about 9 months old, and it started happening about 4 or 5 months ago.

I use wireless internet, and I have DSL through bellsouth....DSL regular, not extremem or anything...

Eileen2Left....Can you tell us what you are refering to as the task bar ?  Just so there is no confusion .
