hello everybody I need some help with this problem I am running on win 98 ES and when I start my computer keep looking to boot from my D and E drive even is set to boot from my Hd first and floppy second device. It start but it takes from 15 to 20 minutes please som advice on this will really appreciated.
drive D is my dvd burner drive E is my cd writter.

We need the complete specs for the machine.  What are your D and E drives configured as? Is this a HD with two partitions--C and D?  Can you get into safe mode and check the HD for errors?

And has there been any recent playing about inside the case or the BIOS, new software added, etc.

Are you sure you are free of malware?
